I am loving summer and all the fun adventures! Even the little things like finding cherry trees ripe and ready for picking.
A bucket load of cherries later and I am ready for some baking. Just hoping that it really is ok to freeze the cherries? Anyone ever freeze fresh cherries before? Any advice?

we pick raspberries every year but i have no clue where i'd pick cherries around here! i bet inland at one of the farms. hmmm ... now i want to go cherry picking! to freeze them, i would depit them {totally worth getting one of those gadgets}, wash them, let them dry completely, lay them flat on a cookie sheet and freeze until solid. then store in a freezer zip. this way they are not one huge clump in the ice box. they should be fine. oh yum! cherries!!!!
